dc.description.abstract	Cuba. Instituto de Geofísica y Astronomía (IGA), s.f. (9)p. il. Tab. Is analized the seismic activity consisting in 29 earthquakers, the mayority imperceptible that ocurred during the interval of the 17. to the 18. octoberde 1976. This activity presented an interesting behaviour not observed before: started suddenly the 17. The time behaviour of the energy release the charge-discharge of R-C circuit. These events were located 25 Kms southeast to the río Carpintero Seismological Station, near to Santiago de Cuba. The step-release of the accumulated energy is considered the most probable mechanism (AU).
